Dan Clay has served the Lord Jesus Christ as a pastor, missions associate, school headmaster, and teacher. He has taught since 2007 at Providence Extension Program (PEP) in Jacksonville. Dan has taught most of the high school level core classes, as well as Latin. He has been married to Amy since 1987. Amy serves as the administrator for the PEP campuses at Eastside and St. Johns. The Clays have been blessed with three children: Sterling, Hannah, and Stuart, all of whom graduated from PEP. Sterling and Stuart both work in New York City, in finance and public policy, respectively. Hannah is the first Jacksonville graduate to come back and teach at PEP, and her parents are honored to serve with her as a colleague. Hannah teaches Composition and Literature classes at the Eastside and St. Johns campuses. Dan holds degrees from University of South Alabama (BA), University of South Carolina (MAT), and Reformed Theological Seminary (M.Div.). In addition to teaching at PEP, Dan serves as Associate Pastor at Ortega Presbyterian Church (PCA), in preaching, teaching, and administration. He enjoys reading (probably way too much!), writing, hanging out with his students, trivia, fitness activities, and is an avid supporter of the Tottenham Hotspur football club.
